The Room is a 2 day (8-10 hrs per day) experience that is curated by Creative Director & Choreographer KIKI ELY with Choreographers @taylorperymon & @artrell_successful , for dancers to gain first hand experience of what it really feels like to get booked for a job from the beginning to end. This space created is like no other where dancers go through the audition process of a selected artist and experience the real time training of booking the audition, going into rehearsals, learning 3 full songs, and performing the very next day for stage and camera. The intensity of having to grow, learn, mess up, develop, push and persevere past what y0ur mind and body is used to doing. Being a fly on the wall the viewer gets a peek into the world of what dancers and artists go through in preparation for a show. We normally only see the final product whether it’s a music video, live show, or a tour. This experience reveals what really happens in the creative process, in theROOM. The passion behind being great in the “rehearsal” or “theROOM’’ is just as important as the actual show. Kill it in theROOM before you Kill it on the Stage. The artist gets to experience full days of intense rehearsals for their show with dancers and on the spot changes, adjustments, and choreography created to enhance their artistry. It’s the best of both worlds and they both come out on the end ready to take their craft & artistry to a new level of success. Welcome to theROOM.
